Im now hooked with this style of photography. Long exposure and water! I simply love the effect. This piece is also taken in Vuohensaari.

I really need to buy a ND-filter, since it sucks to go shooting at low light situations..

This is a really good piece. The blues are awesome. I'm lovin' the reflections from the log/stick, their sharpness shows how glassy the water must have been before the long exposure flattened it out further. Nice. How would the ND filter benefit your lone exposure shots (haven't been using many filters myself - polariser and thats about it).

Really like the smooth soft effect that is greated by the long exposure. The variations in blue color are very nice with the deeper blues at the top and bottom create a nice composition. It is very cool to see water as smooth as the sky. Great job.

It's actually a whole tree under the water.

It wouldnt benefit it in any way, just the timing. I hate going to shoot when its dark already.

Yes, i was thinking converting this piece to duotone but i love the colors too much, so i let it be in color.

Great softness and colors! :-) The long exposure really adds much to the piece.
